Very cool. It is mind boggling to think about how many different skills it would take to create that masterpiece.

26' x 46' basement???? I swear it was 3 or 4 times bigger than that. Even using mirrors (like behind his milk wagon) it still looked a lot larger. And not all were just false fronts, either. What an incredible job.
Btw, if you ever get to Chicago make sure you have an opportunity to visit the Museum of Science & Industry. It's located on Lake Shore Drive just south of the Loop. It's easy to spend a day or two visiting. The German U-boat 505, the world's largest electric train setup, a fascimile coal mine, the Main Street of Yesterday display... just a zillion things to see and do and it's very kid friendly too.
