Hi Guys,

just watched Juan's first round at Busch Hollow. Very solid round on a tough course. Keep them coming Juan.

I then watched Galen's Rd 4 at Apache Stand against Sundance's final round. What a close contest this was. Several lead changes and all level approaching the green on 18. Both players were off the green with their approaches. Sundance played a nice chip, leaving himself a pretty safe par putt. Galen played a magnificent chip, that lipped out. All square, but Galen could have so easily stolen it at the death. What a great watch. Thanks fellas.

When I went to input the scores, I noticed that I hadn't watched Galen's Rd 3 file. So, I watched these fine gentlemen again. Sorry to say Steve, but Galen kicked your butt. Not only did he hit the same Stroke score as I did (56), had he not bogeyed the 15th, he would have played the best round, off the stick, in Rd 3. Well played Galen!

Cheers

If you guys are shooting in the 50's consistently then I'm in serious trouble!

Steve, Tarheel and I consistently shoot in the 50's, but often struggle to feature in the Handicap and Stableford events. That's why we don't consider Stroke scores anymore for the purposes of the competition. For example, my handicap is -1, which means I add a stroke to my score on the easiest hole. Juan's handicap is 12, which means, if I shoot a 56 and he shoots a 68, he beats me in the Handicap event, and probably the Stableford event too. So don't worry too much about the Stroke scores, it all pans out in the end through our handicap system. So, for example, if Galen continues to shoot in the 50's, his handicap will soon start reflecting this, as your best 8 scores in your last 20 rounds are what drives your handicap.

Cheers

Watched all of Tarheel's latest rounds last night. As per usual, very impressive. In fact, so impressive, he cost himself another shot on his handicap, which now sits at a solitary shot each round. You just keep getting better, Brad.

Cheers
