Re: Old Timers Competition 2024
URGENT MESSAGE!!!
Hi Guys, I just started playing my final round at Nanih Waiya, only to discover that several of the white tees are not flat and one is totally unplayable. So, could you all please play your final round at Nanih Waiya off the blue tees instead. Even some of these aren't perfectly flat, but they're not that bad that should affect your tee shots.
That will teach me for not checking the tees first.
Cheers
Brad

Re: Old Timers Competition 2024
Hi Guys,
here's my Rd 4 at Nanih Waiya, played off the BLUE TEES. This is a terrific course, particularly off these tees, with plenty of risk reward decisions to be made, and they start on the first tee.
Robyn and I are going away on 2 April, for five days. Hopefully, that will give everybody a chance to get a few rounds in, before we move on to our next tournament. I was going to ask Randy to select our next courses and conditions, but as he hasn't yet submitted any rounds, I'm not sure if he is actually returning to the tour. On that basis, I'll pass it to Tarheel to make these selections.
Cheers

First round. This course is diabolical. One needs to go pray in the chapel before playing.

You're right Galen, We golfers should pray before we start playing. Unfortunately, we only tend to seek "Divine Intervention" after we have hit the bad shot, and by then it's too late for even God to help!

Had a few beers with my boys while we watched the Reds botch a game and then came home and decided to play my fourth round. Not a good decision. There was more scramble in my round than I had in my eggs this morning.

Re: Old Timers Competition 2024
Watched Sundance's Rd4 at Nanih Waiya last night. He certainly did have to do some scrambling, which, in the main, he did very successfully. However, it became clear that by the 18th he had had just about enough of this round.
Steve, I just want to know if it's "President Musk's" actions that are causing you to swing to the left?
Cheers

Hi Guys,
Robyn and I are off tomorrow for five days and then have two days of baby-sitting as soon as we get back. Hopefully, this will give you some time to catch up on any un-played rounds. If I haven't heard from Randy by then, I will assume he is not rejoining the tour
and I will start posting some scores.
Cheers

Everyone please say prayers for my father-in-law (83). He had 60cm of small bowel removed last night due to complete obstruction of the ileum. We are hoping pathology comes back okay and just shows Crohn's disease complications. He is pretty frail looking right now.
