Sapphire Lakes - The Pines

Post by BradTheDad »

Hi Guys,

in 2012, I released the Oaks Course at Sapphire Lakes, at which time I alluded to the existence of its sister course, The Pines. Well, twelve years later, I have finally gotten around to creating it. I have sent the course and flag files to Tarheel for uploading to the community. I hope you enjoy it.

Thanks again to Steve Holden for helping me out with a technical issue I had setting the hole handicaps.

Cheers

I ran across a couple of problems retrieving the course from the email. The download came as a .zipx file, but my computer doesn't seem to recognize that file compression. I renamed to .zip and was able then to see it, but I could not get the .course from it.

File size was about 19,000 it appears.

Perhaps try to send in standard .zip.

Never mind. I renamed to .rar and extracted fine. I then recompiled to a .zip to upload here!
At first glance, it really looks great!

Thanks for all your effort, Brad. My WinZip on my old PC wouldn't work for me, so I had to use a new version on our laptop. This is why it came out as a .zipx file. Strange.
