Re: Testing!!

Looks really nice Terry. Take your time finishing it, dont get rushed. Have you given any thought to the monthly water charges to keep this course green, lol. Spencer.

Re: putting

Craig may I suggest that you change your green settings from wet to dry or even normal. I respectfully disagree witn Indy that we can make up the rules of golf to suit ourselve just because its a game. To me , its more than just a game. I would hope that most players here would agree with me. Spencer.

Re: putting

I am no expert on PGA rules but I think t he only time you can chip when on the green is if there is an immoveable object in the way or the terrain prohibts you from having a clear line to the hole . I saw this happen to Sam Snead once because of the way the green was designed, he did not have a cle...

Re: Pixalated Panorama

Dave, I am t he designer of Dismal Hollow and yours is not the first complaint about the pano. Steve"s response is the same as mine . You do your best to create something different and sometimes it dose'nt work out as you would like. By the way I got the name on I-60 (I think) in Virginia when ...

Re: Mountaineer V2 by Spencer Turner [New Course]

Thank you so much ADC. I do try to make each hole interesting and unlike the ones before or after it. This gets tougher to do after about 11 or 12 holes, lol. I enjoy designing par 3"s more than anything else. I think they allow a designer to be more creative and sometimes add that wow factor w...

Re: Mountaineer V2 by Spencer Turner [New Course]

My sincere thanks Terry for taking the time to review my new course. It is rewarding indeed to have someone like yourself who takes the time to "look around" and comment on ALL the things a designer does to try to make it all come together and look real. When I design a course I am always ...

Re: Mountaineer V2 by Spencer Turner [New Course]

Thank you for your review Brian. Sorry you had a tought time with the greens and the rough. Next time you might want to set the green conditions on Normal and t he rough conditions on average. The greens are fairly fast when set on dry. Thanks again, Spencer.

Re: Testing!!

Terry your blending of the textures is superb. My last desert course which I think was pretty good was Sundance. I really enjoyed designing it and I think you will too. Terry, may I suggest a different color sand for your bunkers. I think the white looks out of place for a desert course. Just a thou...

Re: Designing A Hole

I respectfully dissagree with Roberts@ comment. I think the course wizard is a good place to start and practice for a new commer. It gives you the oppertunity to understand how the course architec works and play with all the choices available . Spencer.
