Re: Abernathy V2
Steve, that's awesome that you were one of the original designs....I didn't realize that. Also dogs not know that Jim Dickson had passed. Sorry to hear that. He was one of my favorites from the beginning. Duncan and I did our newer versions of Abernathy and Jocassee at the same time, but I feel I ma...

Come on Steve, you can do it! You're only 25 points from the 20th spot.

Re: Gators or Crocs?
Didn't like the textures I used on the first hole, so I've changed over to Palmela green, fairways and rough. Here is the second hole, a 185 yard par 3 with a tricky green.

Hi Steve!! I don't know if you remember me from back in the Copyright Club days, but I was there. Love Mae's Glen! A lot of great courses are named in the "Course Reviews" forum under the thread "Top Courses and More'" which is about the 5th one down. Here are some of my favorite...

Re: US Open @ Chambers Bay
Watching this course has had me scratching my head, because it reminds me so much of a course I played in real life. It finally hit me that the course I was thinking of is in the Pinehurst area. It's called Tobacco Road.....and guess what? We have it on PGA 2000! It was either Aaron or Rattlesnake (...

Re: US Open ON PGA 2000
I have won the US Open in the course that I made for a US Open! A final round 67, in the wind, put me into a playoff with Alexander Noren. Of course, PGA will only allow sudden death, but they sent us to the 4th hole, which is a par 4 of over 500 yards. I made an 8 foot putt for par to win! I haven'...

Re: US Open ON PGA 2000
So I got home from work and first thing I had to do was play my 3rd round. I tied my best round at Dogwood Trail by shooting a 65! This included about 4 chip ins, mostly for pars. I'm now tied for 2nd going in to the final round. The only bad thing is, Dustin had a good round also. He's got 3 shots ...

Re: US Open ON PGA 2000
David, I think Pebble was my only US Open win. Still have yet to win The PGA.
Steve, I think it's odd how Whistling Straits and Chambers are played in the same year. They look extremely similar. They make a nice bread for a St Andrews sandwich!
