Re: Club distances?

Yes this is normal. One thing about this game is mishits tend to not carry as far so you have to think more carefully if you wan to try to carry a hazard and there's a little more pressure involved. Sometimes that can be frustrating if you are mishitting a lot of shots, but I'd rather error on this ...

Re: Chicken or the Egg? "Land" or "Holes?"

After the invention of using real terrain data in the game, I’ve never worked with anything else. My previous work from flat plots was not as good. Part of that was inexperience. I think I could do a good job starting from a flat plot now, but I think it would be way harder and less fun for me. Prob...

Re: Course Not Compiling?

If there is a dot in the name and nothing before the dot changes when you rename architect file, compiling will over run the old version installed in the manager/game. I actually try to take advantage of this because I almost never want to go back and test and older versions and I don't like having ...

Re: Real Course Downloads..Etc.

My apologies for my two week absence. Work has been more hectic than ever. I will try not to do that again. I’m going to spend a chunk of today catching up on things here. This site isn’t going away, but I’ve told Bruce to go ahead and build his site out as much as he wants, as it’s important to me ...

Re: Missing Library...Library Not Installed

Yes it's resolved again for now, my hosting restored it again. Hopefully it stays resolved this time. They don't seem to know why it's happening.

Re: Hello, all

Glad you got it working. Courses folder is the easiest place to keep them but you can extract them anywhere. You do have to install them through the course manager, where ever you extract them.

Re: The Marsh Course at Cumberland by Steve Horn [New Course]

I still think the issue is most likely a library issue and referencing an object or texture that isn’t in the version of the library we have. When I finally get some time I will try to help out or maybe Bruce can get it figured out first. For what it's worth, my experience with points in PGA 2000 is...

Re: Missing Library...Library Not Installed

FYI, I'm aware that all of the courses for PGA 2000 have disappeared again. Fortunately I downloaded everything during the short time it was working again, so I have everything now and we’re not in as bad of a situation as we were last time. I'm going to talk to my hosting provider again and see if ...

Re: files

I found out today the web host has a backup and it looks to me like they restored the PGA 2000 files but not the JN files. It may be because we started uploading new JN files already that they were unsure about wiping those out with the backup. I will try to find out if they can restore those as well.
