Re: WON server
Tiger Woods was the evil idea of EA sports who didnt like the idea of sierra having a game better than thiers, then comes the real shocker, the first version of Tiger Woods contained 97% of the PGA Championship golf files they had bought the game from SIerra. Re: Hanging Up on Opening Background in Windows 8
Windows 8 is a pain in the butt Brian, change your background from an AERO to a basic one. Aeros are a pain in the rear too and cause a load of registry errors on old games.

Re: Top bar No longer displays
Generally if those of you out there are still using CRT (Bulky) monitors, the magnets around the screen start wearing out. Use the system DEGAUSSING in the screen menu, press the M button on your monitor and scroll through the menus, youll find it, this demagnetises the screen and starts the thing s...

Re: PGA 2000 and Linux (Ubuntu, specifically)
If your wanting to run PGA under Ubuntu youll have to do it using the latest version of WINE. Get your Ubuntu installation up to date first, then install WINE and reboot, then run the installer out of the menu and wait for it to complete. You will get an ID50 codec missing error on the startup, some...

Re: Course Manager runtime error 339
Check to see in the Programs and featrues part of the control panel that you have the Visual C++ runtime file 2005 SP1 installed, if not download and run it from microsoft, its a freebie and always there. that should cure any probs.

Re: Grassy sky appears
The grass sky is a bug that originally developed back in the days when patch 3.3.4.5 was released. The game revolves round old sorry ancient video drivers and Visual C++ libraries. One way of clearing the error up is to do a reinstall OVER the installation you already have, this rewrites the files c...

PGA LINK PROGRAM.
As Dar and a few others are aware ive been working for some time off and on, on making a link program along the lines of Kali but not so twitchy. And of course it will be free as well. Recently Ive had a few discussions with a tech or two at Novell who make an IPX/SPX driver system for online faxes ...

Re: We need a little bit of lateral thinking
Vertigo Island. One of my old courses just to stretch the design limits, have a look at it and see if it brings on any ideas. One tip though, big drops tend to cause massive tile stretching in the height map so just watch out for pitfalls and make any areas that have them hazard zones so the players...
