Re: Abernathy V2

Agreed, it is amazing to read the wonderful insight into the beginnings of pga, and how it began as an obsession and remained so for many of us for so long. Thank you for sharing Steve, it's perhaps even more amazing to see one of the 'originals' return to these forums after so many years! In this a...

Re: US Open @ Chambers Bay

.... what do we think? Have to agree somewhat Pols, saw some early round stuff, then only tuned in for the close. Something wasn't right, not sure what but it seemed to lack authenticity or character perhaps, felt invented as opposed to 'designed around'. Allowing for our links bias of course, the ...

Re: not sure if you guys have seen this

Hi Terry, nice to see you back with the spades and wheel barrow .... the right tools in the right hands can create a little magic :) I have to admit to not giving the program enough time when I followed Gab's lead into it, but I think the results look too good for me not to go back and try harder to...

Re: Shinnecock Library?

there ya go then, they made it through .... wow, thanks Brian/Steve. Interesting, but could a designer simply save these pics and use them direct in the creator? I've always thought they'd needed to be in a lib type file. Oh well, using the uploader tool was a cinch, it was only my filing placements...

Re: Shinnecock Library?

I found a couple of higher resolution pics and had a go for you Pols, placed them on my Snowdonia track to see how they looked and here's the results: Shinnecock Clubhouse 1.jpg Shinnecock Clubhouse 2.jpg Not sure if you can use either of them, but let me know and I'll attempt a lib upload. Be my fi...

Re: not sure if you guys have seen this

Nice tip gab, been expecting you Leafs fans out on the course since the all-star break! Checked out the site and registered, just waiting their obligatory 24 hours before being able to log in and presumably find out the cost involved. First impression is of excellent visuals, but at this early stage...

Re: Masters Quiz

Nice one Steve, walloped my score least. Beginning to wonder if my annual 4 days scotch-sipping Augusta heaven has become just a haze, lol.
Now that's a score Brian! You sir, know your stuff.

Re: Masters Quiz

Impressive Pols, but then again I thought for sure you'd be the most golf savvy here and shoot somewhere up in the 90%'s. Odd how the memory tells us what we want to be true, seems like I answered many of the questions that way I'm afraid :/
Same reason I'll back Rory I expect.
