Re: Bunkers - Part II

You can create bunkers that will limit you to a wedge to get out. I did this on Hole 2 in Kilcairn Bay, with three bunkers in the fairway less than 100 yards from the green. See the attached screenshot.

Re: Permission Request - Objects from Alainn Tr'aigh Links

Hey Steve, glad to see your post. I hope the back issues resolve quickly for you. You deserve all the kind words and congratulations. Group designs can be a bit like herding cats, lol. It was fun to collaborate with all these talented designers to produce such a quality course, and we all appreciate...

Re: 'Alainn Tr'aigh Links

Great photo and look at this iconic hole!

The Fried Egg is a great source of information for the template golf holes!

Re: 'Alainn Tr'aigh Links

You did a great job using the Campbell farm to transition from Hole 1 to Hole 2. This is something you see experienced designers do to create a more unified appearance for their course and to avoid the standalone look of each hole by having their holes naturally lead into each other; and I like your...

Re: 'Alainn Tr'aigh Links

Thanks, Goran. The clubhouse object is not the tavern, but instead the stately looking building directly behind and across the parking pavement from the first tee with ivy growing down the sides. The road is actually the cart path in asphalt. There are two groups of houses extending both directions ...
