First Newbie Tip

If there are any other Newbies out there, here is a very important thing to know. If you are experimenting with 72 hole Tournament Play, and decide you would like a summary of the results, DON'T PRESS PRINT! This feature lists all the data for all the players hole by hole. YIKES!!! :bg:
The Eco Police will be all over you, run for cover! However, if you own pulp and paper stocks, you're a winner! ;)
Cheers. Dave
Also, player rankings are not available in this game format, so you won't know where you finished (round or Tourney) unless you won or are near the top, inconvenient, but not forest threatening. :)

Did you not read my post earlier? Round results are most certainly available in the 72-hole format by clicking on the "leaderboard" button on your scorecard.

As for printing results, yah... it does print out hole by hole, 25 players per page. That's why I only print the final results, usually 3+ pages which I print front and back format.

Judy, I posted a screen shot at the start of my Byron Nelson Tourney thread and again showed the final results to wrap up that thread; so I think that should clearly indicate I know how to display the Leaderboard. Steve Horn also forgot about this, as I just mentioned in my recent response to him regarding the ranking issue.
The print out was not 3 pages but 21 as It printed 8 lines per player. Four front nine (hole by hole) scores and four back nine (hole by hole scores), hence the a players scores for 72 holes are stacked in an 8 x 9 matrix. This format ends up with some pages displaying 7 player names and other pages displaying six, as the rows of data for certain players get split across pages - ref scanned page. Since I was looking at the Leaderboard final round summary, I expected, as you noted, 3 or 4 pages, however when I pressed print I got data from all four rounds even though I wasn't being shown it on the screen. If there is a method of ensuring the output matches the 1 line per player summary displayed in the Leaderboard, I missed that selection.
Cheers, Dave

My apology on the printout issue; I've never printed out a 72 hole event and had no idea that it printed out the results of all four rounds, inasmuch as the "season" leaderboard only prints out the results of the just finished round. I also missed your other screen shot apparently.

Apparently you have the right to feed me some crow as I didn't read YOUR post.

Hmm, one way around this is to use season play, but just set up 1 tourney at a time with the courses you want to play and conditions you want to play in. The only handicap I see with doing this is that you can't save and quit in the middle of a round, otherwise it would be no different that playing in the 72-hole mode and it would alleviate both the printing problem and show ranking.

Dave! I turn my printer off after the 1st page is printed. Then I enter into my printer and delete any remaining pages set to be printed. If I'm not listed in the print out I just add my name at the bottom of the printed page, what I shot and any other info like missed cut or place and money won. 72 holes, 21 pages WOW

Good idea Steve. I will remember that in the future. I wasn't at the printer when it was printing and wasn't expecting 21 pages. I was just testing to see if in the printed Leaderboard, maybe rankings/position got added. As you probably already knew they don't, and as you can see from my mark up in the graphic I took the opportunity to figure it out for myself. I finished tied for 44th with 8 others at -12. Interestingly there were 18 players tied at -13. Also, if I had known how to set up a 36 hole cut. I would have made it T70 + ties, then I would have had fewer pages to mistakenly print. Them's the breaks .... I guess? :bg:
Next Tourny I will check the Setup Screen more carefully and if possible set up a cut. Strange that so far no one has mentioned or discussed the Game Designers' ommission of player position from their Leaderboard, yet they have included something called "Team"?
