What's next?

I was intrigued by a comment Indy made in the review of Royal Lytham 'what's next?'
Got me thinking about another design (after a suitable break from the architect), but what?
Which real course is still missing from our cyber community and people would like to play it?
Suggestions?

David! We need an update of Royal Birkdale. The original that is standard part of the game just isn't up to par with the other renditions of the Open Championship.

Pols,
Nick Faldo designed a course in Kent, UK called Chart Hills.
The attached shows the 9th hole. Looks interesting.
Might be worth a try. Lots of sand.

I'll second updating RB. I always liked playing this course but never liked the dark textures.

Pols,
On the official site for the British Open, they have the following:
“Over the past 150 years, The Open Championship has been held at 11 of the greatest links courses in Great Britian and Northern Ireland.”
Then they list 14 courses… not sure why, but here they are.
Courses we have in PGA2000
Carnoustie
Muirfield
Royal Birkdale
Royal Liverpool
Royal Lytham & St. Annes
Royal St. George’s
Royal Troon
St. Andrews
Turnburry
Courses we Don’t have in PGA2000
Musselburgh
Prestwick
Prince’s
Royal Cinque Ports
Royal Portrush
If you have the itch to throw your considerable design expertise behind a new course, would it make some sense to do one of the Open courses that we don’t have?

The last 5 are out of the rota and will never return.
I have thought a few times about Prestwick, the venue for the first even Open, indeed, it's where it was born, in a hotal in the town.
I was thinking of crerating it as it was back then, and inviting players to use just the modern equivilents of the older clubs, just to try and experience what it was like back then.
I've also looked at Muirfield again, my earlier effort looks a bit 'amatuer', compared to the later releases.

Here's my top 5 courses I wish we had for the game, in no particular order:
1. Bandon Dunes
2. Old Macdonald
3. Kiawah's Ocean Course
4. Seminole
5. Shinnecock Hills

Hasn't RS Baker been working on Shinnecock, along with the Lido club?
Will he ever return?
