I hope all my American mates have a happy and safe Thanksgiving Day. My thanksgiving goes to those who keep GBC alive, with the hope that more players will join us and this great game will continue to be played, and courses continue to be created, for years to come.

Cheers

Hope the community has gracious Thanksgiving and even though I've been absent from here, I'm still somehow going. :wavey:

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. The holiday was nice but yesterday was even better when my mom won big at the casino.

I'm grateful there is still a community of people that continue to play these classic golf games. I enjoy reading about the various competitions and new designs...I feel like I'm right there with the rest of you!

Best wishes to everyone now and always!

Hi Ed,

why don't you come and join us on the Old Timers Tour. As all competition is based on handicap scores, it doesn't matter how good or bad you are, you are always in with a chance of winning the Handicap or Stable events and thus the year-long FedUp Cup titles. (Proof of the pudding is that I regularly hit the lowest Stroke score, but rarely win the Handicap or Stableford events.)

Also, there is no time pressure to play your rounds, as we appreciate people have real life pressures. So, it doesn't matter if you miss a tournament here and there, as has been the case with Juan and Randy this year. Like Juan, you can always go back and play missing rounds and I will add your scores in, even if the event was played months ago.

We will be starting a new year-long season in January. Would love to see you on the first tee.

Cheers

+1 Brad! The Ole Timers is very patient! Witness my really long absence in the late summer and fall :) Back on track now though!

Hope everyone had a great holiday season! I enjoyed having my girls back home for a long weekend and was sad to put one back on a plane to Texas and watch the other one leaving in a car for Virginia.

Both will be here two weeks at Christmas though.
