Golf Sim Clubhouse Forum

In the above pic of Red Stag, it is obvious that there is a large unplanted region in the background. I've made the course perimeter as tight as possible. The issue I'm dealing with is what to do with those unplanted areas. In the past, I've just surrounded a course by a large number of trees. However, it looks ridiculous when I do it with Red Stag as trees are relatively sparse and surrounded by relatively dense grass plantings. Any suggestions?

I've no answers that will help with this course except that the background would have to have already included other objects that fit without looking out of place. Only possibilities is some sort of rock formations and just a few well spread out trees.

I have designed for Jack Nicklaus GBC. My approach to this problem is to plant a small variety of medium height bush type objects around the edge of the design. I find that it helps to break up the monotony of an empty horizon.
