Hi Guys,

just watched Juan's Rd 1 and overall it was pretty solid, with lots of 3's and 4's. Unfortunately, it was book-ended by bogeys, which is not the way you want to start or finish your round. Just needs to start getting some of his approach shots a bit closer and turn some of those two putts into one putts.

Here are the results for Rd 1 at Gregoire South. Galen's great round of 59 saw him tied for the lead in the Handicap and Stableford events.

I think you will all agree that this is a very nice course.

Cheers

Brad

Round 3. I've always liked the two Carmel Point courses. As a unit, they remain in my personal top 10. The background isn't top notch like many other courses (in places) however, the general aesthetic and the course layouts/hole designs drive this design for me in a great way.

Hi Guys,

just played my Rd 3 against Tarheel and another very entertaining contest it was.We both started off well, but a couple of late pars to Tarheel gave me an advantage going into the back nine. Tarheel started the back nine better than I did, with six straight birdies, but again, a couple of late pars saw me claw back a couple of shots. Overall, a fun contest on a very nice course.

I also watched Juan's Rd 2 at Gregoire South. Again, his solid play was undermined my two bogies on the front nine and a double on the back nine. It's just a matter of keeping those off his scorecard and he will be hitting some very nice scores.

Cheers

Brad

Hi Guys,

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. I love watching your recorded rounds.

I know we don't play it, but I just watched one of the best Match Play matches between Galen and Randy, in Rd 2 at Gregoire South.

After an even start, Randy went a couple up after a birdie and eagle, to Galen's par and birdie. Galen got one back on the next hole, but by the tenth, Randy had stretched his lead to four, and it was looking like a matter of "how far". But, tenacious as ever, Galen fought back, reducing the lead to three, until the 16th. Then Randy made a blunder with his drive, while Galen hit a beauty. Randy, Par, Galen, Eagle. Randy one up with two to play. The pressure was on Randy, but, to his credit, he matched Galen's birdies on 17 and 18 to take it out One Up! Cracking watch fellas!

Rd 2 is now completed, with Galen and Randy putting in two of their best recent performances. But, all the accolades go to Tarheel this round, with his magnificent 54 seeing him take out the clean sweep of all events from a fast finishing Randy. Well played Brad!

Here are the final scores:

As we are halfway through this event, it is time to start considering our next venue(s) and conditions. This pleasure goes to Juan.

Cheers
