First round at Gregoire South. Got lucky a couple times.

Hi Guys,
just watched Juan's Rd 3, and except for two minor blemishes it was a very solid round. It looked like he was going to get a Ace on the third, but unfortunately, his tee shot just trailed off to the right as it approached the hole. Bad luck Juan.
So, here are the results for Rd 3 at Golden Gate Heights. As I've indicated before, I think the Handicap and Stableford events are the true indicators of how well people are playing, and you can't get it much closer than this.
Cheers
Brad

Hi Guys,
just watched Galen's Rd 1 at Gregoire South and what a cracking round it was. He certainly had a couple of slices of good luck, but he also had his fair share of close calls, with four putts skimming the side of the hole and a short chip hitting the flag and not falling in. That certainly goes in the calculations as one of your best eight scores in your last twenty rounds.
Well played!
Cheers
Brad

My fourth round, what a tough course, specially, the bunkers.

Hi Guys,
just watched Juan's final round at Golden Gate Heights and what a tough day at the office it was for him. An early bogey put and end to a good start. He then played very nicely until the 16th, where it all went pear-shaped. Two shots into the hazard (rocks) and then having to chip out backwards from a bunker led to a horrible nine on this Par 4. Another bogey followed on 17. Thankfully, he recovered his composure to shoot a nice birdie on the last hole.
So, after all that, here are the Rd 4 results and the overall tourney outcome. Very close, particularly in the Stableford event, right across the field, but a late surge by Galen saw him take out both events in Rd 4. (I notice that he has carried his good form on to Gregoire South.)
A really good test of golf from the master craftsman that is Steve Holden. The nearest anybody got to hitting par in the Handicap event this round was Galen, at three over, and we were playing off the blue tees!
Tarheel has opened up a nice lead in the FedUp Cup, with less than a quarter of the year to go before we announce our Champion Golfer of the Year.
Cheers
Brad

Thanks Brad. I'm going to have to keep doing it to have any chance of catching you in the FedUp Cup.

Hi Guys,
just watched Randy's Rd 1 against Galen, Tarheel and myself and I think he is being a bit harsh on himself. Overall, you hit the ball pretty well partner, just missed quite a few putts you would normally expect to get, especially a tiddler on Hole 8, which ended up costing you that bogey.
Cheers
