And finally here's one more I can create.

I worked with the North Devon BG buy it is a low resolution and it's very hard to rid it of the reddish tint. So anyway here are three that we could possibly use and feel free to contribute one of your choice. Let's hear from you guys.

Think I like the 3rd one. Love that we are doing a links course!

Jeff, it looks that way though everyone hasn't voted the majority has spoken and we'll be doing a links course! It's now just a matter of getting the BG, textures and objects in order. A few of the guys sent me emails in reference to the BG so we'll probably see a few more posted soon.

OK, here are some backgrounds I have used in some of my course designs. Most of these are Daniel Watson original designs for Links. Daniel converted some of these to JN6, but not all. And a few required some further modification by me, but I believe I have all the underlying files ready to install. I have labeled each background with Daniel's file name and also referenced my course design, so you can pull the course up in JN6 and see how the background looks in the game.
I will also post some Daniel Watson horizons that have never been converted to JN6 as far as I know, but he made the targa file available. These can be converted to JN6 without much difficulty, but will require a little extra work.
But, first, the ones that have been converted and are JN6 installation ready. Here are the first three:
Scottish Panorama1 - Northumbria
Seascape - Royal Harbour
Seaside Town - Wildwood Dunes

Here is the background I used for Kilcairn Bay. I believe this was the first DW background I used, but I cannot locate the original DW file. However, I do have all these background files in my uncompiled course folder for Kilcairn Bay, so they are readily available.
Here is the background I used for Cuchulainn. I created this one from scratch.
These represent, I believe, all the links (or links type) backgrounds I have used in courses I have designed in JN6.

OK, here are the DW unconverted background pictures. I don't have the installation files for JN6 (not sure DW ever got that far with these), but we can convert these pretty easily to JN6 if need be. Here are the first three:
Scottish Panorama
Sea Scape2
The Castle

Here are the next three DW unconverted backgrounds:
The Highlands

Here are a couple more backgrounds to consider. Sorry, I don't know how to get them to show.
These were created by Daniel Watson and modified for GBC use by Snuffy. One of them looks very similar to the Wildwood Dunes horizon.

After looking at the BG's posted so far. My two favorites are Northumbia and Scottish Panorama
