Old Timers Competition 2024

Hi Guys,

here's my Rd 1 at Hickory Creek. This is a beautiful looking course, but is a bit of a doddle in mild winds.

On another note, I PM'd Juan last week, but haven't yet received a reply. Hopefully, he is away enjoying some holidays and hasn't forsaken us. I am assuming that Randy is just struggling to find the time to play, but that is not an issue. It's all about enjoying this great game and not any set deadlines.

I haven't played any golf for a few weeks. A week and a half was dealing with COVID. First time I've had it!
Look for some rounds coming up!

I suspected there must have been something going on. I hope you and Connie are both well now partner and the dreaded COVID hasn't caused either of you any major health issues.

The amazing thing about COVID is it is the only thing ever "Made in China" that has worked for more than a few days.

I've escaped covid this long and then it came out of nowhere. Symptoms were a mild head cold, just couldn't get a negative reading on the test. Connie has had it twice. First time knocked her off her feet, it's the only time I've seen her car parked for so long LOL

just watched Randy's Rd 4, and all I can say is "He's back!" What a fantastic round in strong winds.

I think this year is going to be closer than ever.

Hi Guys,

just watched Galen's Rd 1 at Hickory Creek. I think he will be the first to agree that he left some shots on the course, with a couple of missed short putts in particular. I don't think he is very far away from hitting in the 50's.
