Hole #7 @ Golden Gate Heights is a 578 yard par 5. The landing area is ample off the tee allowing you to grip it and rip it but there are bunkers on either side and a large pond on the right as well so be accurate! Your second shot must carry a slight swell through a narrowing corridor that opens up before the target area. Few if any will reach the evlevated and well protected green in two but the third shot should set up nicely to set up a birdie putt. If you manage to stay out of trouble this will be a scoring hole!

P.S. The bayside holes are on the back nine so get the camera ready!!

Hole#8 @Golden Gate Heights is an unpretentious par 4. At 409 yards from tee to green this is a scoring hole but you must avoid the bunkers flanking either side of the landing area. The short iron approach is to a tricky green sitting in a cul de sac that is scant yards from the tee for hole #9. Three bunkers protect the green but an accurate shot close to the pin will be rewarded. Longer putts may be somewhat tougher!

Hole #9 @ Golden Gate Heights is a short downhill par three measuring 171 yards. The dance floor is protected by a small pond front and left and a large bunker on the right. The putting surface has its ups and downs so sticking it close will be your best chance for birdie.

Hole #9 looks wonderful. It would fit right in at our local country club.

At the turn your greeted with the 568 yard par 5 10th. You can't make the green in two so avoid the bunkers on either side of the landing area off the tee and be smart with your 2nd shot or it will overshoot the fairway making your approach just a little more difficult. You have a pond, hazard area and a large what I like to call 'pit bunker' fronting the green but if you played your first two shots well getting close to the pin will be somewhat easy. You do want to avoid the bunker though or the hole could be a disaster. You will find quite a few of these very difficult bunkers on this course. After hole ten , six of the last eight holes are bayside so get your wet suits ready!
