Yeah Goran, five shot difference between my front nine and the back nine. That's what happens when you miss fairways! You played well on a tough course.

Cheers

I have not played Citadel since 2004 according to the in-game records, but I still remember it as one of GBC's best and VERY tricky. Power drives do not work in your favor from my memory, so I held back and had to often work my camera to get the lay of the land where I was aiming so as to not end up with an obstruction. Luck is important too, since on some of the holes, trying to get a big advantage on fairway, you have a chance of hitting trees on the risk/reward.

A review of Absinthe I found on my old website. Not written by me, but by a very young french guy by the name of Yannick Trives. He was my guest reviewer and I advised him designing his first JN6 course and he then designed a few very nice PGA2000 courses.

If you scroll further down you will find it. The list starts with capital A-W and after that you will see small letters a-z. The file is named aussie_links

You were going along nice and steadily, Juan and then the back nine bit!

Here's my Rd 2 at Absinthe. Played some good holes, but unfortunately, also played some bad ones.

Cheers

First round played with Tarheel who had the honor for all 18. Happy with a bogey free round thanks to some luck with the putter.

Hi Guys,

Rd 1 done and dusted.

As per usual, Goran is killing everybody in the Handicap and Stableford events. (That will change next tourney, when his handicap is based on only his best 8 results from the last 20, not all of his results so far.) It is a true reflection however, of how his game has improved over the last 17 rounds. So, well done Goran.

Special mention to Galen and Tarheel, who both played bogey-free rounds on a course that is easy to get into trouble on. It'll be interesting to see if they can repeat the feat in Rd 4, with a little more wind about.

Good luck at Absinthe lads.

Cheers

Brad

Attached my 2nd round. Absinthe felt a bit more relaxed than the rollercoaster Citadel, must say I enjoyed my round here more :)
I don´t remember if Australian Links was like Citadel or Absinthe in that regard, but I know I used to love it.
