Re: Old Timers Competition
My 3rd round played at Holy Grail for the first time. Should have had a practise round before but I like to learn as I go along, was a bit confusing without local knowledge but never a dull moment
If pin 1 was the easiest I am not sure I want to play next round pin 3 on hard greens lol

Re: Old Timers Competition
Hi Juan,
welcome to our little competition. Hopefully you will be able to continue to participate on a regular basis. As my wife and I are going away for all of March, this will probably be the last four rounds we play before April.
Cheers

Re: Old Timers Competition
Hi Guys,
managed to get Rd 2 done, even though we still have our Grand-daughter and two dogs in residence. This round should have been a few shots better, but I think Goran managed to get his putter into my bag. Thankfully many of my approach shots were close enough that even with this putter I couldn't miss.
Good to see we have another member, Juan, who has already put in two rounds. Welcome Juan.
As Robyn and I will be away all next month, these will be our last four rounds until April. I don't normally put time limits on submitting rounds, but on this occasion, I would appreciate it if all rounds could be completed by the end of February, as we head off in early March.
Here's where we stand at the moment:
Cheers

Re: Old Timers Competition
Hi Guys,
Grand-daughter is asleep so I thought I'd post an early Rd 4 for you to play against. This round will really test you. I had an Ace and then totally gave it back two holes later by going into the water. Sheesh! You had better stick it close with your approach shots or be prepared for some very challenging putts.
Here's a very ordinary Rd 3 as well. These two rounds are as poorly as I have played in a long time. Must be getting old!
Enjoy

Re: Old Timers Competition
Hi Guys,
here's the situation regarding the rounds played to date. Please try and get them all in by the end of the month, as I won't have a lot of time for the tourney after that, as we will be flat out getting ready for our trip.
Thanks
Brad
