I bought a new putter, so did not take any holes out of the greens in this round. I also bought a jet-propelled ball for the drives...couple of times went a little off course. I just got off a plane from Nevada golfing at Outlaw Trail, so was nicely warmed up on power driving, thus most of them were handsome in the air. This is a really pretty golf course with tall trees and a peaceful vibe. The greens were close to flat once you navigate the distance getting there and you should be able to stay out of hazards. I let a couple of putts escape from short range.
I'll wait to play my round 4 with you all when you get to round 4.

Hi Guys,
while trying to replay my Rd3 against Tarheel's, I discovered that I had played the wrong pin placement. I have replayed my round, and while I couldn't match my previous effort, it still wasn't too shabby.
Damn! Sorry fellas, I don't know why, but my old PC didn't save the .round file. I hit 53, as opposed to my original 52 on Pin 3.
Tarheel was obviously very careful in buying his new putter, as it worked very well for him!
Cheers
Brad

Sleeping Bear Downs Round 2

Hi Guys,
I always enjoy watching Galen and Randy's recorded rounds, as there is normally little between them. Round 1 at Sleeping Bear Downs proved to be different however. Randy's good form of late continued and it is fair to say that, in this round, Galen couldn't buy a putt, while Randy rarely missed. Having set up an impressive eight shot lead by the end of the front nine, all of Galen's best efforts on the second nine couldn't reel in such a lead.
Not surprisingly, Randy's recent form sees him take out the Rd 1 Handicap event while sharing the Stableford event with yours truly. I'm just about to head off to watch his Rd 2, to see if his bubble has burst yet!
Cheers
Brad

Hi Guys,
just watched Randy's Rd 2 and I can report that his bubble definitely has NOT burst. Although, he did learn on the 18th, that you can't take any shot for "Grant"ed on these greens.
Sorry for the horrible pun, partner!
Cheers
Brad

Sleeping Bear Downs is a tough course indeed!
I had fun trying to figure out where to hit the shots but with my inconsistency with seeing my meter did make it interesting
Big thumbs up Jeff!
