Gonna call it as I see it and say that this is still basically a beginners course.
Very generous in fairways and greens, but still very basic in plantings and eye candy, as already mentioned.
With so many excellent courses out there that are a feast to the eyes, I don't understand how a practically bare canvas will attract repeat plays.
If the intent was to draw your eye to the groundwork, well, it isn't exaclty spectacular nor eye catching.
Maybe we are just spoilt thse days with so many great courses available, it's hard to get too excited by new releases.
