Placid Valley

Post by Jim Hall »

Ben a LONG time since I worked with the architect but decided to play around again. Nine holes completed - nothing fancy - just trying to relearn all of the architects idiosyncrasies.

Looks good! Good to see another design in progress for the game again.

Jim
Like what I see as far as hole design and overall library use. May I suggest a different background looks fake or maybe its just your settings as far as distance is concerned.

Thanks for the feedback guys  I'm using the Parkland library which I really like, particularly with respect to textures. As far as the horizon goes, I think the appearance is a combination of my horizon settings in game and the fact that I took the images using a highly elevated camera. I will look into it though. This first go-round with the architect I'm looking to limit the number of libraries I use, not make my own (which I have done in the past), and hopefully come up with a course that is reasonable for a first shot using the architect again.
