Gators or Crocs?

Post by bryce »

Hey all. I don't post much anymore but I check in almost every day. I have several courses that I intended to finish and never did. Since I have had a desk job for the last year, I really had no interest in touching the pc when I came home. Strangely enough, I had a dream about one of these unfinished courses and decided to go back and take a look. After searching for an hour, I found it!

Anyways, does anyone know if there is a library containing alligators or crocodiles? :)

thanks in advance!

Hey Bryce,

Glad to see you are still around. Are you planning on doing a Florida design?

Hi Sandwedge!
I guess it could be considered a Florida design, but I live in North Carolina and we have courses that have marsh and wetland areas like this one will. Played once in Florida and it reminded me of a course near me (and Terry). I'm hoping to make my mind up on this pano by the weekend. Once I do, I'll post some pics. Already have entire course laid out and some earth moved. I forgot how much i love designing!

It will be pretty hard to top your last design- what a masterpiece - the complete package in my opinion! I am excited that you are going to design another course!

Thanks Sandwedge! I hope I can do something good with it. I've only planted around the first hole to give an idea of how I want it to look. Nothing final with this hole, except the layout. The green isn't finished either. A lot of hills already in place throughout the course, just don't have much local elevation work done yet.

Here is the first hole:

Doron! I really like what your thinking with the hole design and location of all the tee boxes. Planting is also cool.

Didn't like the textures I used on the first hole, so I've changed over to Palmela green, fairways and rough. Here is the second hole, a 185 yard par 3 with a tricky green.
