Can't run Course Manager, get noted error message with:
Component MSCCOMCTL.OCX or one of its dependencies is not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid This appears to be quite different to the problem Deguelo recently responded to.
Searched the Internet and found several Win7 posts to which same Techie responded. His solution was totally incomprehensible to me. However, two problem posters responded that they followed the Techies guidelines, but it didn't resolve their problem. That was two years ago and there has been no further response since.
Anyone here got any ideas?

Today I re-searched specifically for the 339 error and found tincup's post from 2010. Hopefully I can sort out the required file locations in Win8.1, and get File Manager up and running.
