Thanks for the reply Kent. Have you decided what your next course design will be? Again, I really liked Fremont.

Many, many, many years ago I was due to play this course in Madison, Ohio. Unfortunately the rains came and I never did. I forget how many years it's been closed now but the story always was that the designer brought in a professional golfer and where ever he hit it, they dug a lake. I had a friend that did play it and his story was that his foursome, playing the course for the first time, went to the next hole and couldn't figure out which direction the hole played until the wind blew and parted the trees, revealing the fairway.

I hope you continue and finish this up because I would love to play it. I had it on my radar to do many years ago but never got to it. Looks really good and just know that there are some of us still out here that appreciate a great real course recreation. DS

Thanks Dale, that means a great deal coming from you. How about a new DS design, maybe Boulder Creek. I have a course guide book if you need it, hint, hint. I played there about 7 years ago. I had not hear that story about digging a lake where ever he hit it. Course closed in 2010. Tiger Woods former caddie, Fluff McCowan holds the course record from the back tees with a 72. I was a member there for many years and also worked on the grounds crew.

DC-
No updates on any new course designs from me...I think about it all the time but thats as far as I get. Dale Somerfelt!! I absolutely love every one of your real course designs, please come out of retirement! and I second the Boulder Creek thought. I go by it on the Turnpike occasionally and always admire the visible holes.

There's never been a retirement as much as I couldn't get the architect to work on my computer with Windows 8 thru 10. I still have the old one, running Windows 98 that I'll probably use when I start back up, as I'm nearing the retirement age of my real job. While it wasn't working I instead did real courses that had been located around where I live (Northeast Ohio). They were courses called Brandywine, Astrohurst, Maple Crest and Oak Knolls East for PGA Tour 2019. What these all had in common were they were real courses that had been closed and replaced by the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, a shopping center and a company named Davey Tree. I grew up playing these courses and just wanted to remember them. I loved the graphics and playability of PGA Tour 2019, but couldn't stand how I couldn't strike up a game with a computer player and the pains of setting up a PGA Tour season. That is something that still keeps me coming back to PGA 2000.

Boulder Creek would be a fun one to do. I think I have a shot booklet back from the only time I played it twenty years ago. Before shutting down when I got my new computer I was working on Roses Run, a course in Stow, Ohio that was mentioned in a Golf Digest article as one of America's Most Dangerous Courses because of how people were cutting doglegs over people's houses. They'll be a learning curve on how the program works again.

Nice to see people are still around and playing this game. I'm am forever amazed at what people can do with the architect and how good the Pebble Beaches, Augusta those damn British courses look!

I turn 65 in July so I am nearing retirement too. PGA tour 2019, is that the golf club game? I looked but did not see any of those courses. I remember Brandywine but never played there. Hope to have more time to build courses. Brian Z put together the Lidar files for Thunder Hill and Little Mountain in Concord next to I-90. I look forward to your retirement so you can come out of retirement. I think higher resolution images for libraries are a big factor for how good courses look. I also have to thank you for your Ohio Trees 1 & 2 libraries that I'm using on Thunder Hill, but you probably already noticed that in the screenshots.

Yes that is the game. I get on it through Steam. I think it's up to 2021 or 2022 now. Mine were done in version 2019.

Those are some DAMN GOOD LOOKIN' TREES! Kidding aside, I hope you can finish Thunder Hill. The screen shots are AWESOME. Looks like you sure like doing courses around Madison, Ohio. I did Powderhorn for Jack Nicklaus a million years ago.

Where does Minnesota come into play?

Moved for work and housing was a lot cheaper. I played Powderhorn many times back in the day. Was that for JN4 or earlier? I still have JN6. TGC 2019, what name did you release them under? I looked and could not find any of those that you listed.

Brandywine RC, Maplecrest, Oak Knolls East, Astrohurst par 71. My wife always wanted to move north. She also enjoys watching curling. Have a hard time getting that on tv down here in "The Heart Of It All".
