Skill setting distribution

Post by Goran »

What skill setting distributions are you using?

Fast meter always for me, I used to play with 15-15-15-0-0 for a challenge to play even par rounds, but now I need all points and have it set to 20-20-2-20-18 to play around par. The 2 is for bunker shots, so I have to adjust shot lengths without any caddie advice.

Is there any advantage with other distibution of the skill points?

And another thing I wonder concerning designing, do you think shallow greensite bunkers are more difficult to get close to the pin from then playing from the rough?

I think i play with something like 20,20,8,1,1 or something but will double check. I’m on med meter. I find the most impactful setting is distance on drives and control. I’ve never noticed personal impact on the others.

I’ve rarely felt the bunkers were as hard as real life. The biggest issue for me is the further away the green is from the trap. I’ma little less assured in all situations with those 2-4 irons

I love the challenge of the very fast meter. There were a few of us who did playing the World Tour. Carl Stansbury was one and he played very well.
