Hi Guys,

it appears that Lupin has decided to not participate in the Sundance Challenge, so here are the round and overall results and trophies. I managed to scrape home in the Stroke event, thanks to an Ace in Rd 4 and Tarheel struggling a bit on the last nine holes of the tourney.

Goran is proving very hard to catch at the moment in the Handicap and Stableford events, but as he plays more, I'm sure his handicap will eventually bring him back to the field and, if Juan keeps playing like he did on the back nine of Rd 4, he will certainly come into the mix for trophies.

On to Whiskey Run and Gros Morne. Don't forget to check which pin you are playing from.

Hi Guys,

as I indicated, Mr Holden knows how to make a challenging course. This has shown up in the handicaps, with just about everybody losing shots in Rd 4. My handicap remained constant throughout all four rounds, but that was only because I got the Ace in Rd 4, otherwise I also would have suffered in the handicaps.

Here also is my first round (Rd 3) at Gros Morne. While I said to hit it straight at Whiskey Run and the same applies here, you are not guaranteed a flat lie for your second. This is a beautifully crafted course that will really test your ability to judge the slope and the wind, not to mention the very challenging greens. This course is a beauty! Enjoy.

Cheers

Brad

Dont think you have to email anything Galen, the round file is good. I played you so I can attest nothing foul happened, perhaps except for some kicking in the high grass but I always do that myself so not worth mentioning :)

Welcome aboard Galen. Good to have you back playing JN6 old friend. All you have to do is post your rounds and I will do the rest.

Robyn and I will be away for a month, so I won't be posting any results until early April, so no rush to play your rounds.

Cheers

Hi Guys,

I just noticed that, after advising you to check which tees you are playing from, I played from the white tees in Rd 1 instead of the black tees. So, please disregard my Rd 1 file I posted earlier.

That's what you get for rushing.

Just watched Goran and Galen's Rd 1 games. Goran, you are improving every game, just need to keep those double bogies off the scorecard and you'll be hitting in the 60's on a regular basis. Galen, that was a great round, after a sluggish start.

Cheers

Yes, I was happy four holes now that Galen has joined I have someone I can compete with, but I suppose you were just a bit rusty Galen bc then you ran away from me on every hole. I think I won one hole though on the B9, but I hit more consistenly now so I hope I will soon play a round below 70 :)

OK Juan,

you can pick the courses and conditions for our first tourney in April, which will start after we return from our trip to Tasmania and I have posted the scores for our current tourney.

Cheers

On my PGA w Tarheel tour, I will be playing one round, and posting my .round file each day, on each of four different designers Masters/Augusta courses. Keep an eye on that thread and you can download my rounds to play along with! So, you will have four rounds to play along with. During tournaments, I post one round per day, trying to closely approximate the real world weather. Which reminds me I need to play Bay Hill’s round for today still!

If you go to the bottom of this note and click on the link, you can see on my schedule planned of the four Augusta courses I plan on playing.
