Re: 'Alainn Tr'aigh Links
Thank you Goran.
Coming from a designer of your pedigree that is high praise, and I am truly humbled.
Yes, Steve did give me the best part of the course to design on, as he did with all of us, with the terrific BG he worked so hard to provide us with. I'm sure that there will be many great holes on this course, as the blank canvas we have to start from, and the talent of the designers we have, can lead to no other outcome.
I love designing with this wonderful old program, but we all know that doing a full course is truly a labour of love. Doing a hole or two in a group design is just an opportunity to let your creative juices run wild, and that's why I hope we have many more group designs to come.
Cheers
Brad

One of my daughters-in-law is a lawyer (and so was her father), so I get an exemption.
Actually Jeff, I thought of you while I was writing it. Hope things are on the improve for you.

No worries Brad! Thanks for thinking of us. Next step is to get my mother-in-law moved here to Florida, and hope that my sister's treatment continues to be successful. One day at a time.BradTheDad wrote: ↑December 12th, 2022, 6:40 pm One of my daughters-in-law is a lawyer (and so was her father), so I get an exemption.

Your hole design for #14 for the collaboration course looks absolutely fantastic. The low rolling hills the planting, fencing near the tee box area and the green design are all TOP NOTCH. Well done.

Thanks Steve. It's always nice for a designer to receive positive feedback. I'm sure this course will have a great deal to offer players.

Re: 'Alainn Tr'aigh Links
I've sent Steve a link to the course folder with my contribution.
The eight hole at 'Alainn Tr'aigh Links is a seaside par 3 playing 234 yards from the championship tee. The green is protected by three pot bunkers and divided into three target zones so accuracy off the tee is fairly critical. Beware, the beach is hazard in the rare event your tee shot is mishit left.

Great looking hole Galen. Nice use of the waves to create a "beautiful beach"!
This course is going to be fun to play.

Group course update: I have now received four folders, Charlie (2 holes), Goran, Brad and Galen (2 holes). I received messages from Goran and Jeff that they are going to combine their two holes into one folder, holes 17 and 18. We still have a ways to go so get them design minds working!!

Really good-looking hole #8. I hope a few other holes use your planting with some color or it may look out of place. That being said it's an excellent design sure to challenge all who play.
