It was Hole 2 though, so no problem. The ondulations and deep bunkers look very dangerous, if they look that good in the game I would be very impressed, I dont dare do that bc they can look bad if you dont get it right. Great work!

You did a great job using the Campbell farm to transition from Hole 1 to Hole 2. This is something you see experienced designers do to create a more unified appearance for their course and to avoid the standalone look of each hole by having their holes naturally lead into each other; and I like your angles with the fence, the planting and your use of the dirt path. So a really nice job!

I can't tell from the screenshots if you have a double fairway or a triple fairway that is reachable from the tee box; or, if instead, you have a single fairway with some well-placed center bunkers; but you seem to have provided the golfer with multiple ways to play the tee shot which is a good thing, especially as the wind changes and some areas become more easily reachable.

Nice job. I look forward to playing this one.

Apologize for the sneak peek, but I didn't want to hold up the release of other designers' holes that may be done...trying not to be a constraint! I have a very busy schedule so wasn't sure if I'd get to work on it again for another week or two.
Appreciate the feedback! It's an honor to be able to contribute to this design and to the community. Really looking forward to playing Alainn Tr'aigh Links!!

Not a problem Rick and we are in no hurry so just get it finished as soon as you can. When I get yours we'll move on to hole #3.

Guys, just to be clear if your hole is finished you can send me the folder now. This way we can verify if it's sent properly or if there might be any problems with the transfer or hole itself. We are just posting them here on the site in numerical sequence.

P.S. If you guys don't want to do it this way speak up. This is a Group Design and I'm just trying to build up some interest this way.

I would just like to remind that the objects window often has to be resized if not all objects are displayed.

Hi Juan,

the .ini file should work automatically in the designer when you open the file Steve sent. If not, create a new hole, save, then save as playable. Then open your new hole and see if the custom objects are available. Hopefully this will work for you.

If there is a problem with the .ini file you shouldn't be able to see the new textures that Charlie created either. Can you use the new textures? If so, you should be able to see and use the custom objects.

Cheers
