Ham Hoc Tours
I have updated the Ham Hoc Tours web site. I offer this in the hope it may be a useful source of information.
This used to be the site for several JN6 cyber-golf tours. The Archives page has a tabular listing of these events dating back to 2004.
The history page is a record of the tour from its inception with contributions from some of those who were involved in one way or another. One interesting bit is how the tour acquired its odd name.
I have updated the Game Files FYI page and the JN6 Installation Guide. There is a link on the latter to download the JN6 Manual Patch file with instructions on how to patch the game to the latest version.
I have added a Course Depot page. This is a work-in-progress and when complete will offer for download a number of JN6 courses, many of which were converted from older incarnations of the JN series. None of these were included in the compilation I provided to Golf Sim Clubhouse. They had to meet my criteria to be included and the vast majority of them are less than 10 MB in size.

Re: Ham Hoc Tours
Hi Galen, I'm perfectly happy to host those other courses here too if you want. Just letting you know we're available to do that here. Feel free to keep hosting anything and everything at the Ham Hoc site as well though. It's always good to have redundancy. Thanks for your work on keeping content for this game available.

I have uploaded files to the courses folder that I have and will send the rest when I am finished. Supplemental Excel documents went into the files folder.

Re: Ham Hoc Tours
I have gone through Randy's dropbox account and uploaded 141 JN courses to the Course Depot section at Ham Hoc Tours and also here for Golf Sim Clubhouse. Most of these were released more than 20 years ago, conversions from JNSE, JN4 and JN5. Many were done using stock textures and objects but there are some gems in here and I hope to use them when and if I start up the Snuffy Smith Honor Tour. Two were group designs from back in the day: GBD at Big Sky and TPC at Tumbleweed. This goes back before the time I became involved in the Jack Nicklaus gaming community. I'll post the names of contributors to these designs at a later date.

Hi Galen,
do you know if there are any of the older courses in uncompiled format that we might be able to upgrade with new textures, objects, etc?
Cheers

Re: Ham Hoc Tours
There weren't any uncompiled courses on Randy's dropbox account, but I believe he may have some stored to his cloud or onedrive. I wouldn't think you would find any of these courses available in this format but you can email Randy about that.
