Re: Hello, WGC2011!
Any instructions on how to load a LIDAR plot into the architect? Meaning, creating a new course from a blank plot to one with LIDAR detail?

Re: So, what are you up too?
Hi, all Can't believe July is almost over! Haven't gotten to tee it up much lately. I did take 5th in a 4th of July tournament this year. -1. But the field wasn't really that strong, and it was a very easy par 3 course where I should have done better. In other news, my wife and I recently adopted a ...

Re: The National Golf Links of America
BZ, the tee maker shapes look good, but for some reason, the textures aren't working right. The look more like smooth, round brown rocks than tee markers. Either that, or they resemble black and white beach balls. As for the logos, yes, they are pretty simple. I could send you link to what I'd like ...

Re: The National Golf Links of America
So, the course is coming along, slowly but surely. What's done? Here's a list. The course is fully playable, at least for my own testing needs. All shapes are drawn, double checked, and locked. I'm doing "final" edits as I go along hole by hole. Front 9 tees are leveled for 2013 Walker Cup...

The National Golf Links of America
Hello, So, I've been working on a version of NGLA for WGC2011. It's coming along well. I have 14 holes drawn out, with only the bunkers of holes 8-11 left to go. It has been a lot of fun, and while I've always been a fan of CB MacDonald, I can honestly say I've fallen in love with this course. I cou...

Re: From sea to shining sea
Thanks, BZ. I can see the point of using both. This game is far more powerful than I expected, but that does make for a lot of freedom.

From sea to shining sea
Hey, all. So, I'm toying with a new course, just for fun, and it's a seaside links. Am pleased to discover that this architect really isn't too different from the old PGA game, at least when it comes to drawing shapes. But I was wondering if could ask you guys for some design input. Maybe I'm still ...
