I corresponded with Dean Baker from Red Chain Games earlier today. In basic terms, he said the new game is still in development but is still in its early stages. He hopes to have a preview of the new game ready by mid-year or quarter 3.

Umm...is this game still available for free from anywhere? If not, how much to get the latest version? I don't know the answer to this, and I was wondering this myself.
