Re: Old Timers Competition
On 17th hole playing vs Juan and 5 under par the game decided it had enough and the round had an instant death, much like my interest. Tried to load the backup file but it was the course I played before. I have played Perfect Golf´s RTS mouse swing with no meter for 4-5 years now and I am not sure I...

Re: Old Timers Competition
Here is my final exhausting round at Citadel. Unlucky finish on the 18th Juan. I am glad I took the time to google that 1 feet is 12 inches, and not 4 inches as I thought. I would have been very short on my 4 feet below hole final putt lol.

Re: Winston Heath GC by Göran Mentzer
Thanks for playing Brad. When I started designing Winston Heath after a very long hiatus, I made it for playing it myself in the spirit of early 1900 course lengths and with reduced club settings. I use CC settings 15-15-0-0-0 when not playing in your Oldtimers Tour, and still play under par here if...

Re: Old Timers Competition
Decided to play a 3-ball with Brad and Galen. That´s one of the things you can do when retired and having all the time in the world.
Was going very well untill the last four holes, not sure if they were designed to humble you or if it was the wine kicking in. But I had a very good time!

Re: Old Timers Competition
Attached my 2nd round. Absinthe felt a bit more relaxed than the rollercoaster Citadel, must say I enjoyed my round here more
I don´t remember if Australian Links was like Citadel or Absinthe in that regard, but I know I used to love it.

If you scroll further down you will find it. The list starts with capital A-W and after that you will see small letters a-z. The file is named aussie_linksJuanMenestrina wrote: ↑April 18th, 2023, 4:44 pm Australian Links is not on the list.
Could you please, upload it?

Re: Old Timers Competition
A review of Absinthe I found on my old website. Not written by me, but by a very young french guy by the name of Yannick Trives. He was my guest reviewer and I advised him designing his first JN6 course and he then designed a few very nice PGA2000 courses. http://privat.bahnhof.se/wb999270//Reviews/...

Re: Old Timers Competition
Watched our rounds Brad, you outplayed me on the F9 but I won B9 by 1 shot thanks to your unlucky flub on the 10th. You did not powerdrive I think, but was always a bit longer than me but sometimes in rough while I landed in fairway.

Re: 2022-23 PGA tour/Worldswing tour, play recorded rounds with Tarheel (schedule with links in first post)
Played Mackenzie's Augusta National by John McMillan, had it already but forgot it existed. Interesting to play this early version of real Augusta, probably quite accurate bc John was very interested in the old school real designing from what I recall from the old forum. I played with W3 as driver t...
