Re: Courses for download?

Galen: Thanks for your info and patience. User stupidity! I didn't know I was supposed to put the Downloaded files in the Courses folder. I must have been asleep during that lesson. :bg: I was clicking on the Downloaded file on my desktop and selecting the option to "OPEN WITH GBC ?". Stra...

Re: Courses for download?

Thanks for following up. "C: > GBC > Data > Courses" is where I installed GBC also, but as noted previously, this did not work for me.

Re: Courses for download?

Thanks Charlie. Did all the good things as instructed when I downloaded JN6. Put a few courses in the "Courses" Folder but they do not show up in the games list. Just the "Originals that came with JN6. Possibly a Win 11 Issue? I have had a few of those, but usually with Microsoft Stor...

Re: Courses for download?

Thanks very much! Big List!!!! I decided I would start by matching against Links 2003 courses for comparison purposes. However I have no Idea where to put the JN6 courses so they show up in the JN6 Game. Any help would be appreciated. Also will all of the listed courses run in JN6?

HAD TO WRITE THIS DOWN:

Re: Jack Nicklaus 5 (1997)

Can JN5 courses be played in JN6? Yes but they need to be converted kinda like the Links courses. There are a bunch of converted courses (JN5 to JN6) that I think will be posted on the site at some point later on. Thanks Viper. Just to remind you, I'm 78, so there may not be much "later on&quo...

Re: Just Questions

Captain, Play around with the skill points for your golfer. From myself playing around with it, I found if I use the fast swing meter, give 20 skill points to full shot power and the rest of the skills zero points, the game appears really hard! At 78 years old this game is not what I need to be har...

Re: Just Questions

Captain, You do need to apply the settings to GPU or it does not affect the game. Once you apply to GPU, then the chubby player will be gone with either Aspect Ratio or No Scaling. The difference will be that No Scaling will give you a smaller game screen with black bars all around the game screen ...
