World Tour season#12 update

I've completed the first nine events of season #12 and still have nothing to show for it. A BIG FAT 0 POINTS.! However after hitting MANY BAD Shots I made some changes with the mouse motion speed and moved it to the fastest setting and in the game options have the golfer detail on (low - fast). I also changed my swing a tad and I've had very few bad shots with the truswing method since. If I can start putting better I'm hopeful I can get out of this funk soon. Here are the results to date.

Any idea what caused the drop off in the first place? New computer or just too much time between teeing it up? Will be watching with interest - early money seems to be on Jordan Spieth in season 12.

Sandwedge! Wish I knew what the problem is or was exactly. All I can say is all mouse's and computers are different when it comes to PGA2000. This is the second season with my new computer and mouse. Wasn't happy with last season but it wasn't terrible. Did find an old mouse pad that I switched to for this season but I really like it better. I did take a break from playing the game after last season and that surely doesn't help.

The wackado season #12 continues with me finally getting my first points in the 15th event of the year. Not only was it a top 10 it was a victory at the RBC Heritage on a course sandwedge sugguested Franklin Lakes, "THANKS SANDWEDGE". After still struggling and after another disapointing showing at The Masters ,I switched back to the mouse pad I used last season. It's a softer mostly black pad, but has a light gray, black and yellow emblem of our Columbus Crew S.C. in the middle. What I'm doing different is I turned the pad sideways to help open up the light gray in the middle more and hope it helps with the optic mouse some. I still hit some mysteriously really bad shots, but hey I won and it feels better then the hard plastic muti colored pad I had switched to for the first 14 events.
Here are the results to date and top 20 in points. With my victory I'm only 4 points out of the top 20.

Finally, a break thru Steve - congrats!

FWIW, my family are huge Sporting KC fans and were very sad to see Kei Kamara go to the Crew. Hope he does well for you guys and scores in double digits this year anyways - top notch footballer and even better guy. He regularly bought Chipotle for the fans in Kansas City after wins - real class!

Love these season replays and follow them with interest - I'm rooting for ya!

Here I'm just finishing The Open Championship with nothing new to report as far as my game play. Still stuck at a measly 10 points as this horrible season keeps dragging on. I didn't use a mouse pad for my 2nd round at The Open Championship just my desk top and shot -1 (71). Not great but I only had one (BS) shot which is an improvement on the usual three or four on most rounds using a mouse pad. If your wondering what is a (BS) shot in my opinion is any shot from the tee's, fairway, fringe or green that goes 20% or more less in distance then the estimated distance that shot should have gone. Example no wind off the tee I avg. 265. If A tee shot with my driver goes 52 yards less (213 yards) or even less then that under those conditions its a (BS) shot. Hard to score when your scrambling to save par on 4 to 6 holes a round if not more. Anyhow I will continue for now not using a mouse pad and see how it goes. Here our the results to date and top twenty in points.

How are you doing Steve? Have you managed to get a few more points out of the mouse yet?

Sandwedge! A little to early to say if not using a mouse pad is helping. So far I'd say yes but yesterday I had the strangest shot ever. On the 18th tee of Elysium Fields I set up to hit a high fade off the tee over the water (#18 Pebble Beach). Make my swing and the ball goes backward 14 feet. Now that's one hell of a shot  I just had to laugh it off because I was plus 7 for the tournament on the 72nd hole. I'll never figure that shot out. Made a good swing, not perfect but a good swing. I've had some mysterious stinky shots but that one tops the charts.

I've reached the 1st players cut portion of the season and a record 129 players had at least 1 point to make that first cut. Unfortunately I'm still stuck at an embarrassing 10 points for the season. Tied for 71st place, which means if I don't pick up some points very soon I won't make the 2nd cut of the top 70 in points. I know making it to the World Championship tourney is almost impossible but I'm still trying. One good thing about this season is it's a tight race for the World Championship. Much tighter then previous recent seasons and that's something I've wanted to see for awhile now. I truly believe there's 20 to maybe even 30 players that still have a chance to win that big prize and be named World Champion. Here's the most recent results and the current top 20 in points.

OMEGA EUROPEAN MASTERS – (STANDARD)
