Tarheel, I worked with a programmer that Russ "Tweed" Beckner had setup with me on that classic. I can't remember his name but he did a fantastic job with the objects I arranged on the course and was actually able to slowly light them up as you progressed in your round. By the time you reach the 18th hole it's dusk and the Christmas lights are lighting up the course. It was years ahead of the technology available at the time. I believe I also formed quite a few bunkers to match the season as well. It was quite the project. I haven't seen the course in years but if you ever play JNSE it's certainly worth a round at Christmas!!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone in the community! I love that there are still folks playing and producing courses for this game. :)

I think even without the special effects the course is a lot of fun. The hole with the bow tie bunker and bow tie pond is a favorite of mine.
