Rd 1 played along with Brad.

Couple bogies on the back didn't help, still figuring things out.
Nice round there Mr. Brad, what happened on your drive on 18 ?

Hey Partner,

thanks for the kind words. My machine "blinked" on me part way through my swing, so I totally lost all rhythm to my swing. Then, I stupidly tried to hit it through the trees instead of having a look around to see if I could just get it back on the fairway, and paid the price.

Cheers

Nice round Randy.

Pity about the two bogeys on the back nine. With your current handicap, you have certainly made it hard for me to challenge you in the Handicap and Stableford events, and even the Stroke event is too close for comfort.

Still, there's three rounds to go. ;)

Cheers

Thanks Brad,

Rd 2 I brought out the power drive. Over hit a couple fairways...... More setbacks, two bogies. Just can't stay out of trouble :bg:

Here is my first round at Alluring Lakes 2. Unlucky in 17th tee shot made me an 8. Still, a fun round.

Hi Guys,

just played my Rd 2 against Randy, and while I improved on my first round, so did he, So, it was another close affair. (At least this time I got to see what the 18th fairway looks like.) Randy's current handicap saw him gain more on me in the Handicap and Stableford events, so he will take some running down. It will be interesting to see how he goes when his handicap calculation changes in Rd 4.

While I was playing, Juan posted his first round, which I also had a look at. Started with a bogey, which is never good, but then settled into a rhythm. Great start to the back nine was all destroyed by a disastrous 17th. Still Juan, what you can take from this round is that your start to the back nine shows how much you have improved. Just need to keep the bad holes out of your game and you will be scoring really well.

Cheers

Brad

Congratulations Juan, that is your best tournament round yet.

Bogey free, and I have worked out that, with a little more luck with your putter and a straight drive on 17, you weren't far away from scoring an amazing seven shots better. You must be really happy with the way your game is progressing.

Hi Guys,

here's my Rd 3 at Mark Twain. The best way to describe this round would be, erratic. Really struggled with my rhythm off the tee, but managed to save myself a few times with good approaches or putts.

Really nice course, that you definitely have to think your way around.

Cheers
