Final round at Glencoe. Too many fairways missed and putting not very sharp.

Rd 3,

Still not in tune with the meter yet. Lots of little things I've forgotten too.
No bogies this round finally!

Not quite your heroics of Rd 3 Galen, but still not too shabby. I watched your round against those of Tarheel, Juan and myself, and believe me, you weren't the only one missing fairways. There was a lot of scrambling and head-scratching all round.

The tournament scores are very close so far. Just waiting to see what Randy brings to the table when he finishes his rounds. I know he is a bit time poor at the moment, but hopefully he will be able to enjoy a couple of relaxing rounds over the weekend, and find time to select our next venue(s) for us.

In relation to the FedUp Cup, at the half-way mark of the season, it is unbelievably close. But, more on that when we have finished this tourney.

Cheers

Brad

Just noticed your Rd 3 Randy, after I had posted my previous post. I suspect that when you do get in tune with the meter, we are all going to be looking over our shoulders at you soaring up the leader boards. Any round without a bogey is a good round.

Cheers

Hi Guys,

I must be getting blind in my old age, as I had completely missed that Randy had posted his Rd 2 a few days ago. Sorry Randy.

Anyway, we now have scores and results for Rds 2 and 3 and, not surprisingly, two terrific Rds of 60 in Rd 2 by Randy and 59 in Rd 3 by Galen have seen them take out both the Handicap and Stableford honours in those rounds. Special mention to Randy, who hasn't played JN6 for eight months. So, to come back and get a result in his first tourney is a fantastic effort.

The one thing this tourney has given us is some varied results, as far as round winners go, so the overall tournament results are still very much up in the air.

Here are the results for Rds 2 and 3.

Cheers

Brad

Hi Guys,

Randy has indicated that he would prefer it if somebody else selected our next venue(s)and, having had a look back through the records, I think it is time for Juan to have another opportunity. So, over to you Juan.

Cheers

You're dead right Brad. Our three amigos are certainly improving, which just makes for even better competition.

Personally, I think the most important event is the Handicap score, as the handicap system we have has shown how it levels the playing field. This will be even more evident after the next tourney when we are all having our handicaps determined on our best eight scores over our past twenty rounds (Galen has now played 20 and Randy 17).

Enjoy your holiday.

Cheers

Brad
