Hello - my name is Ron. As my screen name suggests, I live in Jacksonville Fl after moving down here from Baltimore in 2004 to get more sunshine and golf in. I have played this golf sim since the day it was released. I have never played any other sim. I went through about 6 years where I stopped playing completely then got bored at work one day and remembered I still owned the disk. Installed it and now play it to keep my nerves settled when I'm on the job. I am an labor economist and am 42 years old, married 17 years with 3 kids.

I have designed some absolutely horrible courses purely for my own enjoyment. (I love playing with computer partners and watching them try to navigate my crazy ideas). I have never played this game online but have set-up tours for myself against mostly the 50s legends as I like the way they shoot.

As far as the courses go, I love the ones that take me someplace I probably will never get to. Like the desert or Hawaiian courses or famous courses like Augusta. I like playing winter courses in the summer and summer courses when everything is gray. I average around par in the game and around 100 in real life. :bg:

Hello Everyone!!

Nice to see some old friends here. For new friends, my name is Linda denOuden and I created and ran the Copyright Club many years ago for PGA99 and PGA 2000. I worked for Sierra Sports at the time as the official course download site.

PGA Golf was my life for a few years and I even met my husband Durango, playing it :)

I sure miss those days and have often wanted to get back into playing it. I dusted off the CD's and tried installing them on my Vista laptop but it was a no go. So any tips you have on getting them to work with vista would be great.

I still have copies of the old Copyright Club course CD's and pictures from way back then.

Currently I work for an online gaming company called Phantom EFX. We make casino and slot games for the pc, and have replaced Hoyle at number one in casino/slot games for several years now. We have an online version of our casino also called LIVE, which is free to play the trial version. Please come see me and say hello either there, or on Facebook.

Great to see PGA is still alive and kicking!!

Whoa! Talk about a blast from the past... lol. Hi Linda and a big welcome back to the wonderful world of PGA2000. Yep, still kicking... amazing eh. This game has survived several generations of changes to windows with no changes to the original software. That is pretty amazing in itself. It speaks well to the foresight of the original designers.

I know of no specific problems installing PGA2000 on a Vista machine. Maybe if you could give us some detail on the error(s) you are getting, we can sort it out.
