Congrats LA Kings

First Stanley Cup for the franchise since joining the NHL for the 1967-68 season. Jonathan Quick was awarded the Conn Smythe Trophy (playoff MVP). Many former Kings players and management are probably as happy as the current ones.

Certainly a thrilling year for them. Winning the Stanley Cup was huge - something even the great Gretsky could not help them to do. Great story and a great year for the NHL.
