The Wit and Wisdom of Stillgolfing

Post by stillgolfing »

Yesterday, in a Golf Tournament at my home course, I was partnered with a particularly offensive individual. On every hole he took 10 practice swings and carved out 9 divots (even on the tee with his driver!). He ordered 2 beers on every hole, and was continually hitting on the Cart Girl. On the seventh tee, I had had enough of his BS and started hitting him over the head with my sandwedge. Suddenly, our Teaching Pro drove up, jumped out of his cart and said "Dave, haven't you learned anything from our lessons? For Christ's sake, If you are going to beat a guy to death you need to grip the club like this!"
Cheers, Dave :bg:

There is no similarity between golf and putting; they are two different games, one played in the air, and the other on the ground.

The thing I hate about quicksand is, there isn't any way to slow it down! :bg:

Godzilla, Megalon, Gamera and Ghidorah get teamed up as a foursome at the Redstone Golf Club North East of Houston. These guys never liked each other at the best of times, and now they are trying to play a round of golf together. On the 5th tee Megalon is so upset with Ghidorah's rudeness and bad play that he looses it and throws Ghidorah 6 miles, into the North Bell Intercontinental Business Park, where numerous buildings are destroyed by the impact. When, Ghidorah regains consciousness, he goes on a rampage down Route 59 and eventually destroys Houston. At this point Godzilla, being a decent golfer and aware of basic golf etiquette, turns to Megalon and says “I think, under the circumstances, you should have yelled fore! :bg:
