Fishers Island

Post by Polslad »

Completed hole layout following the course map onto the plot Brian supplied.
Only first draft, but thats the hardest part done now I feel.
Will need a few tweaks and adjustments but we are off and running.

You amaze me. You keep at it and you find a way to get it done and when its done its like walking on the real course! I love this course and have had the privilege to be on it - if you can make it happen it would be a great joy for me. But no pressure - I already have so many great choices from your work to play and replay and replay!!! Castle Stuart is growing on me and Royal Lytham is a repeat player in my que of courses - oh the bunkers there, in real life my back would be so sore at the end of the round

Can anyone suggest a suitable pano for my Fisher Island course?
I've tried Peeble Beach and Pennisula State Park, they just don't look right.
Needs to be a few miles of maily water with land visible on the horizon (see photo).
Did I imagine there was a place where you could view all the available pano's?

David, it is in the utilites that you see at the top of the forum page. Scroll down to PGA designs and you'll see copyright course panos. Just D/L and it is divided into 4 parts.

I think I have more or less finished here, just a few tweaks about the place, hen it's course notes and a splash screen.
Got a long break over Christmas now, so, no excuses.
