Looking for a sound bit

Post by ADC »

Anyone know a library with a really good "wind-running-through-open-fields" type sound?

ADC! There are several libraries with wind noise but I never thought any sounded that good. It helps if you adjust the properties then they are OK. I'd have to look but I believe Canaveral Dunes and maybe Montery Shores has wind sounds. Don't believe it makes any difference as the style of course.

One of the best wind sounds I've heard is from Coos Bay libe. I would suggest looping the sound and setting it at/around ground level (0-3 yards.) But as Steve said, there are a LOT of wind sounds.
